Offering clients unique insight into some of the most elite residential areas in Southern California, Leslie Kavanaugh joined Sotheby’s International Realty as a real estate agent more than 15 years ago. Raised in Beverly Hills, Ms. Kavanaugh has also lived in Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, and Malibu, and her residential history has granted her extensive knowledge of these areas. At Sotheby’s, she has earned recognition as one of the top agents both in California and nationally. Before assuming her current role, she acted as a Manager and Estates Director at the Jon Douglas Company, where she also earned a number of honors, including induction into the President’s Elite Circle and the National President’s Circle. Before entering the world of real estate, Leslie Kavanaugh worked as an interior designer. She has also served as a teacher in Beverly Hills.
Outside of her career, Leslie Kavanaugh demonstrates a strong commitment to her local community. She sits on the Board of Trustees for the Friends of Robinson Gardens, which works to preserve a beautiful historic site and creates unique curricula for local schools to teach children about preservation work and the importance of gardens. In addition, Ms. Kavanaugh serves on the Board of Trustees of Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles and has worked with the group for more than 15 years. For the last several years, she has chaired the organization’s most prominent fundraising event. Ms. Kavanaugh also works to support the Los Angeles Ballet by exposing individuals to the art of the ballet through a variety of fundraising events. In addition, Leslie Kavanaugh has been active with the Sheryl Weissberg Lymphoma Research Foundation (SWLRF) and The Art of Elysium, which grants opportunities for artistic expression to children undergoing cancer treatment in Los Angeles hospitals.
